It's official....

I am now a registered student of New Tribes Bible Institute. I got my room all set up today....most people seem to think that the room space is limited, but I think it's enormous!!! My assigned space in the closet is bigger than what all 3 of us share at home. I have fabulous roommates and my RA is one of the sweetest girls on the planet! We took a tour of the school...it's not very big, but they have an indoor running track! I was pretty excited about that...I may exercise once or twice just because it's nifty (but nothing is set in stone).
I registered for my classes today too. For those of you who have been asking, here's the list:

-Bibliology
-Old Testament History
-Biblical Foundations
-Pentateuch
-Proverbs
-Evangelism in a Postmodern World
-Hermeneutics I
-Geography of Israel
-Emerging Church

I'll have my plate full, but I've never been more excited to start school! Many of you know that I've never really had a love for school. At all. I'm beyond excited to see what God has for me this semester!! As my mom and I were driving back to the hotel this evening we were listening to the song "Speak O Lord" by Keith & Kristyn Getty. I usually like to listen to or sing this song in preparation for a church service or Bible study, but I now hear it and get excited to hear Him speak on a whole new level!

Speak, O Lord, as we come to You
To receive the food of Your Holy Word.
Take Your truth, plant it deep in us;
Shape and fashion us in Your likeness,
That the light of Christ might be seen today
In our acts of love and our deeds of faith.
Speak, O Lord, and fulfill in us
All Your purposes for Your glory.

Teach us, Lord, full obedience,
Holy reverence, true humility;
Test our thoughts and our attitudes
In the radiance of Your purity.
Cause our faith to rise; cause our eyes to see
Your majestic love and authority.
Words of pow'r that can never fail—
Let their truth prevail over unbelief.

Speak, O Lord, and renew our minds;
Help us grasp the heights of Your plans for us—
Truths unchanged from the dawn of time
That will echo down through eternity.
And by grace we'll stand on Your promises,
And by faith we'll walk as You walk with us.
Speak, O Lord, till Your church is built
And the earth is filled with Your glory.
